Do Purchased Hours Expire?
Nope! Your hours are good whenever you need them.
Can I Get a Refund for Unused Hours?
While we have a strict no-refund policy, we're happy to work with you! Unused hours can be transferred to another family, and our director is always available to discuss any special circumstances that may arise.
I Have a Friend Who Would Like to Register Their Child; Do I Get Anything for Referring Them?
Absolutely! We love when our families spread the word. Just have your friend mention your name when they register, and you'll receive 20% off your next Kids By The Hour purchase!
Is the Referral Discount Per Child or Per Family?
You'll receive one awesome 20% discount per family referred, no matter how many kiddos they enroll!
What is the Supply Fee Used for?
Great question! This fee helps us keep our shelves stocked with fun art materials, engaging books, and exciting toys that your children love to explore and play with.
When is the Annual Supply Fee Due?
The annual supply fee is due every February.
Can an Hourly Package Be Shared Between Siblings or Friends?
Yes! Feel free to share your hourly package among siblings – flexibility is what we're all about!
What Payment Methods Are Accepted?
We make it easy for you! We accept cash, debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
How and When Are We Billed?
All fees are due when services are provided to keep things simple! Hourly packages can be purchased anytime – once you've used your hours, just grab another package or pay the remaining balance at our hourly rate. Any meals or snacks your child enjoys are billed at pick-up. Weekly passes are due by 6 p.m. on the Monday of that week, and the best part? Meals during valid hours are included with weekly passes!
Can I Use My Packaged Hours to Pay for Meals?
Hourly packages cover childcare time only, but meals are billed separately at pick-up – keeping everything nice and organized!
Can I Buy Meals in Packages?
You bet! You can prepay for meals at pick-up or add a balance to your account. For example, add $10 and we'll deduct meal costs until the balance runs out or you add more. Easy peasy!
Is the Daily Routine Flexible?
We love having a schedule to keep things running smoothly, but we're flexible too! On quieter days, lunch or nap time might happen a bit earlier, and we'll adjust outdoor play based on the weather. Our schedule typically stays on track within just a few minutes.
How Are the Children Organized?
We group children by age following state-required teacher-to-student ratios to ensure everyone gets the attention they need. Our one-year-olds have their own cozy group, while two- and three-year-olds (and up) are grouped accordingly. We also consider each child's comfort level when making placements!
What Kind of Training Does Your Staff Have?
Our amazing team receives hands-on training from our experienced senior staff and center director. Everyone completes 40 hours of training through the Florida Department of Children and Families, plus we provide ongoing in-house training. All staff members are also first aid and CPR certified, so your little ones are in great hands!
Are Background Checks Conducted on All Staff Members?
Absolutely! Every staff member undergoes thorough background screening because your child's safety is our number one priority.
Are Fire Drills Conducted?
Yes! We conduct monthly fire drills to keep everyone prepared, and our evacuation routes are clearly posted throughout the facility.
What Security Measures Are in Place?
Your child's safety means everything to us! Here's how we keep everyone secure: Security cameras are monitored by staff and ownership, all doors stay locked and entry requires permission from our front desk manager, and only authorized individuals listed on your child's enrollment form can pick them up – with valid ID required every time!
How Often is the Facility Cleaned and Toys Disinfected?
We keep things squeaky clean! Our facility gets a thorough cleaning every single day, and toys and surfaces are disinfected throughout the day to keep germs at bay.
Can My Child Bring Food From Home?
We provide all meals and snacks in accordance with state regulations, so outside food isn't needed! If your child has allergies or dietary concerns, our Center Director is always happy to chat with you about it.
